Ohe, yes, Adam, I agree. This is such an awesome picture ... and reminds me of the writing 'Footprints'. Here on the mountain, as on the sea shore, Jesus is always there to lift us up onto his shoulders and ... 'make one set of footprints' Here HE has found the lost lamb; in 'footprints' HE is carrying those of us that are toooo tired to go on alone. Not that we were alone; HE was just waiting until we admitted ... to our need ... HIM carrying us instead of walking along side. Merci, moi cher. DIEU TE BENISSE!
I'm just a regular guy. Got'a wife and kid. I use to go to Mass most weeks, and that was enough "God" for me. Our Lord thought otherwise. My life fell apart in every aspect. When I was broken and lost I called out to the Lord. I said I'll serve you if you'll have a lowely sinner. That bout sums it up.
"What man among you having a hundred sheep and losing one of them would not leave the ninety-nine in the desert and go after the lost one until he finds it? And when he does find it, he sets it on his shoulders with great joy" Luke 15:4-5
